An incredible Artist, Singer Song Writer and Composer. One of my favorite artist of this generation. Would recommend her Music to anyone.

All in all a highly enjoyable jangly, bedroom pop release. The rhythms of which seem to pay homage to early type Go-Betweens (Brisbane or Melbourne indie 'pop'), combined with the 'do it yourself' ethos of that Dunedin sound. There's a somewhat surf vibe running through some of the tracks, reminiscent of The Riptides to a certain point. My only 'criticism' is that occasionally the synth is too dominant, leaving the jangly and very infectious goodness behind, but it's typically not overdone.

I don't know if "complicated pop" is a genre, but that's the best way I can think of to describe this. Jangly, shoegaze-y music at its best.
